On the 3rd
of march, we had our first meeting in Plovdiv. We are 30 young people from Bulgaria,
Latvia and Germany who have met to discuss human rights, especially the freedom
of movement. All students of the three countries saw themselves for the first
time and nobody knows who their working partners would be. To solve this
problem we made a circle of chairs to see everybody participating in this
project.
To get to know each other and
to remember each other’s names, we played ice-breaking games.
Later we
divided in five groups to work on the blog where we summarized our days in
Bulgaria.
The rest of
our first day was our own free time, but in the evening our hosts made a welcome
party for all participants.
Because of the Bulgarians
national holiday celebrated on the third of march. Everyone got a nice bracelet
which is a lucky charm and a Bulgarian tradition on this holiday.
